Permanent Vacation is made by a group of designers in Sweden (oh how i would love to go there). they make beautiful, simple clothes and have the most amazing mantra: Tired of all the impractical pretensions in fashion today, Permanent Vacation are inspired by the classic gentleman's way of dressing; dapper, shapely, comfortable and useful, garments aimed to love, wear out and repair. it always frustrates me that it is so hard to find simple, comfy, but stylish womens clothes. i recently got a new sewing machine and am hoping to make some clothes like this for myself. i especially have a thing for jersey stripes these days and am going to try to make something once i convince a certain friend of mine to donate some of the excess striped fabric she has lying around
