i have mentioned before that i am really intrigued by flower farming so i was super excited to visit snug haven farm outside of madison to learn more about growing flowers. currently we just grow vegetables on our farm so sandy (the owner of the farm i work on) and i went to explore the idea of adding flowers next year. it was such a beautiful farm and all the flowers were just amazing. the couple that owns the farm were so helpful in teaching us all about their process and even sent us home with some of their tasty tomatoes. in the afternoon we came back to our farm and harvested garlic the rest of the day. i wish i could have captured the amazing smell from the over 10,000 garlic heads we harvested.
