we took a little road trip over the weekend and met up with friends at the square lake music and film festival in stillwater. i am not usually into music festivals as much these days (the hoards of people, long lines, etc.), but this festival was the ideal setting. really small, on a sweet little farm, amazing music, local films and you could bring your own picnic. my good friend's band, orange mighty trio played and i really enjoyed seeing roma di luna for the first time. i always love listening to a female folk singer. other than the crazy rain, it was an amazing day!
