i usually work on the farm on mondays but my good friend is coming in to town so i am taking the day off. i thought i would post about what i have been making with all the amazing stuff we get from the farm instead. whenever is starts to get a little cold out i always feel like making a big pot of soup and baking fresh bread. this is a really simple leeks, garlic, carrot and potato soup and my usual italian bread. i just tried to use up whatever i had on hand and made it up as i went, but it turned out so tasty.
