what a lovely blog! so glad i came across it!
I've been not-so-patiently waiting for my hair to grow out for what seems like years, I can't wait to get it to that length where a messy braid or bun looks impeccably chic.
ooo I love these photos, especially the middle one on the bottom row.
damn. i knew i shouldn't have cut my bangs :(
i used to part my hair in the middle, but i switched when i got to 7th grade. maybe when it gets longer i will switch back.
growin out the bangs as we speak...farisita
My mom used to also part her hair down the middle and her hair was so long it touched the top of her rear end!I so wish I had my moms stick straight hair instead of my curls.Lulu Letty
::sigh:: I'm missing my long hair now...
these ladies are all so stunning. i absolutely adore fillipa berg and chloe sevigny.
Love the softness in these photos, I am especially envious of the bottom left photo with the stripe tank top and bell jeans....so perfect!PS - Scan pics of your mom!!!
Thanks for the comment on my blog! I'm just starting out so every single one is very rewarding. By the way, your jewellery is GORGEOUS. I love those brass necklaces!

Thanks for the comment and wow...I am now in love with your blog! I love your style. As far as Chicago, I am actually outside of the city in the south suburbs. I am almost in the corn. :) We have a lot down here but it is probably a bit too far. If you ever do come this south though, I would be glad to show you around to them. For Chicago specifically, I would ask Leilani from Thriftaholic. She lives there and knows what exists now. I have been out of the city for almost 2 years, sadly.
I cut my hair short a while ago and am now struggling to grow it back. It would take me quite a while to achieve this look! Love it!
so romantic. i'm growing my hair out and parting it in the middle too.
I LOVE alela. Last time I saw her she had really short cropped hair though, she still looked lovely.
the 70's are totally my decade. i'm always looking to pics of my mom back then- she was awesome. i love all these girls- great compilation.
You just described my mom in the 70's too :)Talk about girls after my own heart, love these so much <3
