What a busy couple of days! On Saturday we took a last minute day trip down to Chicago and had so much fun walking around. We started off on Devon street with the tastiest Indian lunch buffet, went shopping in a couple of cute neighborhoods and ended the day with a stop at the Japanese grocery/book store. I got this lovely new hat, a Japanese sewing book and my favorite treat!
The rest of the weekend was spent with my best friend who made a surprise visit from DC. It was so nice having her here and it gave us an excuse to throw a dinner party last night. While we were suppose to be getting ready, we took a walk down to the lake to watch the sun set. This warm weather has just been amazing and makes me appreciate my neighborhood so much more. My outfit was nothing new, but I couldn't resist getting a picture of my new hat.
