wow, summer is already going by too fast! after a crazy busy week, all i want to do is throw on some comfortable cotton clothes and have a picnic in the park. i can't remember which blog i came across pip-squeak chapeau on, but i am loving all their simple pieces. i especially want that gathered white skirt and i am not usually a skirt person. i love how it looks with a button-up and maybe a pair of oxfords for summer.

on a side note, i am sorry that i haven't been the best at blogging lately. i have had some family medical stuff going on as well as some very exciting news that has been keeping me busy. i get kind of nervous about jinxing it, but we got an accepted offer on a house last week! we go to do the inspection tomorrow so if all goes well maybe i will post some pictures. i plan to get back to regular posting this week and expect a jewelry update later in the week.
