india part 1...the first five days we were in mumbai and stayed in bandra, the neighborhood where my sister in law's family lives. we did some sight seeing in mumbai proper the first day, but spent the rest of the time exploring bandra. some highlights...three nights of wedding events (i will have to do a separate post on this), warm sunshine, having indian curry for continental breakfast, shopping at anokhi for the most amazing hand-printed textiles, extra large masala dosas at elco, sitting at cafes, crazy rickshaw rides all over the city, walking around different markets, celebrating our third wedding anniversary and ringing in the new year with lots of friends at a roof top dinner. a few more details on flickr...
