lately i have been trying to enjoy the quiet simple life. baking carrot bread, reading kinfolk, staying cozy in my new sweater leggings...

making new ceramic pieces like this bowl and these beads that will become a wall hanging...

working on my studio and thrifting new pieces like this wicker chair...

finishing weaving projects and starting new ones.

    Oh, goodness, the wicker chair! When I was a little girl in the 70s, my mom had one just like it. It was given to me when I was 21 and it was in terrible disrepair. I took my husband's bad advice and let him get rid of it. I try not to regret things, but I do wish that I had it.

    I'm so glad that you found one. It's good to see it.
