Last night I watched An Education and totally fell in love with the old British school bags from the 60s. I went on a little hunt and found these two classic versions and this slightly more modern one from A.P.C. I put together an outfit for how I would wear it, but I acknowledge that only in my dreams could I afford an entire A.P.C. outfit. It still gives me inspiration for my next thrifting trip.

ReplyDeleteI've been keeping my eye out for the perfect saddle bag too. If I ever happen to find two at once I'll send one over! Fantastic movie!
ReplyDeleteI like the outfit you put together! That's how I always feel when I am inspired by fashion on the runway - can't afford the real thing, but it's inspiration for thrifting. And most of the time, you can find something similar for less than 10 bucks! Amazing!
ReplyDeletelove your blog, as always,

Arrrghhhh! This post makes me regret passing up this perforated, cognac-colored schoolbag at the flea market.
