satchel

Last night I watched An Education and totally fell in love with the old British school bags from the 60s. I went on a little hunt and found these two classic versions and this slightly more modern one from A.P.C. I put together an outfit for how I would wear it, but I acknowledge that only in my dreams could I afford an entire A.P.C. outfit. It still gives me inspiration for my next thrifting trip.

  3. I like the outfit you put together! That's how I always feel when I am inspired by fashion on the runway - can't afford the real thing, but it's inspiration for thrifting. And most of the time, you can find something similar for less than 10 bucks! Amazing!

    love your blog, as always,
    Kelly =)

  7. I've been wanting one of those traditional English school satchels for ages! Now I'm seeing them all over the place... I'm going to have to start collecting change from the couch cushions to put in my satchel fund.

    Until now, ive never seem to find the right brown satchel bag that would fit my essentials, so unlucky! I'm seeing ladies looking so cute wearing them on their shoulders :)
